is a programme within the framework of the festival especially for a professional audience. This year, tête-à-tête is co-hosting the annual General Meeting of CIRCOSTRADA with the Tollhaus in Karlsruhe.

Circostrada is the European network for contemporary circus and performing arts in public spaces. Founded in 2003 with the core task of promoting the development, strengthening and recognition of these fields at European and international level, the network has developed over the years into an important anchor point for its members and an important interlocutor in the dialogue with cultural policy-makers throughout Europe.

Once a year, the members meet for General Meetings to exchange ideas, develop projects, and discuss the strategic direction of the network. They provide an opportunity to meet professionals from different regions of Europe, learn about artistic programmes and the work of local artists, explore potential collaborations, and gain a better understanding of the cultural context of the host country.
