If Circus draws inspiration from the ancient art of knitting and the rediscovery of this knowledge. Melic stages a knitted rope as a living, ever-changing element. In interaction with the performers, it stretches, sways, and dissolves, while seeming to weave together memories and relationships. From this tension emerges a poetic choreography in which role models, relationships, and life cycles become visible.

MERIDIAN(s) Catalonia – Germany 2026 promotes the visibility of the Catalan circus in Germany and brings together circus artists, festivals, and venues from both countries—through joint programs, residencies, discussions, and encounters. Coordinated by the Catalan Circus Association (APCC) as part of the 2023–2026 Circus Support Plan, the project strengthens creative exchange between Catalonia and Germany.
