On the surface, Augusto appears as a traditional clown, yet he is also a reflection on this beloved figure. Augusto is a tribute to all the clowns throughout history who have dedicated their lives to making people laugh. Even when they left the ring, they remained clowns—for the true clown lived within them.
MERIDIAN(s) Catalonia – Germany 2026 promotes the visibility of the Catalan circus in Germany and brings together circus artists, festivals, and venues from both countries—through joint programs, residencies, discussions, and encounters. Coordinated by the Catalan Circus Association (APCC) as part of the 2023–2026 Circus Support Plan, the project strengthens creative exchange between Catalonia and Germany.
